Adam Crawley from the Skoll Global Threats Fund will share Flu Near Year - an online participatory surveillance tool that allows member of the public to complete weekly surveys to report flu symptoms. Raed Mansour from the Chicago Department of Public Health will share Foodborne Chicago - a project that uses technology to mine Twitter for tweets related to food poisoning in Chicago.
