FoodSHIELD is happy to announce plans to release two new applications in September to enhance usability worldwide using with the new multilingual feature and resource library.
Multilingual Application (Phase 1):
A Spanish language option for FoodSHIELD navigational components will support workgroup activities and related functions such as documents, meeting, communication and contacts. Users have the option to select the translated features upon login. There are plans to incldue additional languages in the future based on user feedback.
The resource library was created to help organize and index the growing volume of data on FoodSHIELD. This feature will allow users to tag and share resources(e.g. documents, photos, videos) with other users and work groups. Administrators will have the ability to select this app from a list when creating a new FoodSHIELD workgroup. Interested in participating in a pilot test of the resource library? Please contact Dustin Nelson, FPDI project manager, at email@example.com.
Development of these applications is funded through a cooperative agreement between FPDI and the FDA-Integrated Food Safety System (IFSS).
