Abstracts are now being accepted by the National Center for Food Protection and Defense for The Food Defense Conference on September 15-16, 2014 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The deadline for submission is 11:59PM CST on June 13th, 2014. The NCFPD Call for Abstracts instruction guide and submission form are available at www.thefooddefenseconference.com/call-for-speakers.
With emerging and evolving food threats from terrorism, economically motivated adulteration, and disgruntled employees, we must remain vigilant to stay ahead of intelligent adversaries. Professionals in industry, academia and government are invited to attend this conference to discuss current threats and challenges, and to identify food defense solutions.
This call is for oral presentations on food defense topics to be held during the conference breakout sessions. Abstracts are limited to 300 words and should address a topic pertinent to food defense (see more information in the NCFPD Call for Abstracts instruction guide). A review committee will evaluate all abstracts submitted for acceptance based on relevance to program content
Questions regarding abstract submission should be directed to Debra Freedman, PhD, Education Manager, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
