FPDI participated in the HNPW in Geneva with 1400 colleagues working to improve our humanitarian efforts around the world. The week provides a space for humanitarian networks and partnerships to hold their annual meetings and network with other humanitarian responders to discuss challenges and explore innovative solutions. FPDI was fortunate to participate and interact in supply chains, technology solutions, simulations, and data exchange forums. During the week we presented our work on Operationalizing the Pandemic Supply Chain with our colleagues with the World Food Program.
The week was empowering and humbling. The commitment by humanitarian aid workers is awe inspiring. With the devastating news that three humanitarian aid workers were tragically killed in Afghanistan this month, we have renewed energy to provide solutions to this community of humans on the front lines who are making a difference for our global population.
