Abstract: 
There were two main objectives to this project: (1) to develop fast GC/MS analyses using micro-bore columns and hydrogen as a carrier gas for the rapid and accurate detection of potential food toxins; and (2) to characterize thermal toxin breakdown products of potential food toxins using a thermo gravimetric analyzer/differential scanning calorimeter (TGA/DSC)
